Xiaomi Mi Official Watch: maybe even he is the smartwatch you were waiting for (photo)

Along with Mi CC9 Pro, Xiaomi also announced its first Wear OS smartwatch, based on Snapdragon Wear 3100.
On the hardware side we do not have substantial innovations, which are mostly in the software, although still limited to the Chinese version, which sees Wear OS customized with MIUI interface.
Xiaomi Mi Watch: Technical Features Screen: 1.78 "(368 x 448 pixels, 326 ppi) AMOLED with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 RAM: 1 GB Internal memory: 8 GB eMMC Sensors: accelerometer, geomagnetic, beat cardiac, brightness, barometer Connectivity: 4G LTE (via eSIM), Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS + BEIDOU, NFC Dimensions: 44.69 x 36.92 x 12.28 mm Weight : 44 grams (rubber strap) / 56 grams (Premium Edition with metal strap) Battery: 570 mAh OS: Wear OS with MIUI For Watch Xiaomi Mi Watch should guarantee about 36 hours of battery life in 4G, which theoretically are not few, but they should be evaluated calmly.
We do not see it possible to reach two days of use, especially since the smartwatch is also equipped with sleep tracking, so in theory it should also be worn at night.
We then have the classic functions for the sport, and it is also "Swim Proof", although there is no real IP certification.
There is no shortage of speakers and a microphone, as a good smartwatch with network connectivity is also able to make calls (at least in China).
Note then the presence of over 100 watch faces, thanks to the support of Wear OS with however always a personalization MIUI, which here debuts on smartwatches and that we are therefore very curious to try.
Regarding design, one could argue at length about its resemblance to Apple Watch, compared to which Mi Watch appears less elegant and refined, as well as more often.
Release and Price Xiaomi Mi Watch will be available in China from 11 November in Silver and Elegant Black with a rubber strap, at a price of 1,299 yuan (about 170 euros).
The Premium Edition in Black with a stainless steel strap costs 1,999 yuan (around 260 euros) and will be available from mid-December.
We do not expect a short launch on our market, for which a software revision would certainly be necessary, but then tomorrow there will be a Xiaomi event in Spain during which we will certainly know more.
And if Mi Watch doesn't even have to peek out, it means that our hypothesis will be confirmed.
